April 20th, 2026, the Ridgewood Softball Team hosted its annual Strike Out for Cancer Event. Brandy Greenman, a long-time employee of the AlWood School District, was honored at the event, throwing out the first pitch. Brandy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is about halfway through her treatment. She continues to fight this battle for her three sons, who have already lost their dad to cancer. We support Brandy and her family as she continues to fight this disease.
