We’re excited to share a NEW opportunity for junior high students this summer!
Black Hawk College and the QCCTEC / United Township Area Career Center have partnered to offer a Car Care & Safety 101 Workshop designed specifically for students ages 12–14. This hands-on experience will introduce students to essential car maintenance and safety skills every future driver should know.
Students will learn how to:
Check oil, tire pressure, and fluids
Change a flat tire
Jump-start a vehicle
Build an emergency car kit
Understand warning lights and the importance of routine maintenance

Thursday, June 11 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday, July 9 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location:
United Township Area Career Center (1275 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, Illinois (Event will take place in the Auto Shop Building.)
