The AlWood CUSD #225 Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Reggie Larson as the next superintendent, beginning July 1, 2027.
Mr. Larson has 19 years of experience in education with 15 of those years being employed with the AlWood School District. He has spent the past 13 years as the principal of the AlWood Elementary School. Mr. Larson, his wife Caitlin, along with their children love living in the AlWood School District and will be a great part of the community for many years to come.
Mr. Larson will still serve as the elementary principal for the 2026-2027 school year, but start working with current superintendent Mr. Nordstrom over the next 12 months to help make it a smooth transition into the superintendent role on July 1, 2027.
