In math, the 2nd grade students in Mrs. Schubert's class have been busy exploring place value and learning all the creative ways they can represent numbers. Inspired by their hard work and incredible behavior, Mrs. Schubert decided to surprise the class by transforming our classroom into a friendly haunted house for the day!
As part of the special day, students built their place value haunted house crafts right in the transformed classroom. Watching their faces light up when they walked in was priceless! Along with completing their crafts, they had a blast practicing their math skills, enjoying flashlight reading, and playing a witch's hat ring-toss. It was a wonderful way to celebrate their learning!
