Update on tonight's sporting events:
Round Robin Play has been cancelled for the HS LTC Girls Basketball Tournament. Our Lady Spartans will now not be in action again until Thursday January 18 at 6pm. Please see the attached picture for the updated LTC GBB Tournament Schedule.
JH Boys Basketball will play at 5pm v. Galva in the MS Gym.
JH Volleyball will play at 5:30pm v. Mercer County in the HS gym.
Good evening! Due to continued snow, increasing wind, and poor road conditions, the AlWood School District will have no school and utilize an E-Learning Day tomorrow on Wednesday, January 10th. Please refer to your student's E-Learning information that was shared by their teacher. Thank you and please stay safe!

HS Boys Basketball v. Galva at Cambridge has been postponed until February 5 at Cambridge with a F/S start time of 6pm.
JH Boys Basketball at Costa has been cancelled with no makeup date.
JH Volleyball at Galesburg has been postponed with a makeup date TBD.
Due to the projected winter storm, AlWood CUSD #225 will not have school on Tuesday, January 9th. We will have a traditional snow day. No E-Learning work will be required for tomorrow. Thank you and please stay safe.

The Freshman Game for tonight has been rescheduled to Monday January 15 @ 6pm @ Alleman.
The High School Girls Game v. Stark County will now start with F/S at 5pm with Varsity to follow.
The JH Boys Basketball at United has been cancelled tonight with no make up date at this time.
"The Oxford Fire Department is considering a CPR class for the public. We are looking for 25-30 people who either live or work in the AlWood School District. If you are interested, email Chief Kevin Brown at Oxford6201@yahoo.com or go to our Facebook page and comment that you are interested in attending. After we find out how much interest there is we will schedule a date and time."
